Honeybees

At Mattie's Mountain Farm, we employ one of natures best workers - Honeybees!

Honeybees help in the pollination of certain tree species and flowers.  Mattie's Mountain Farm contains awide variety of naturally growing wildflowers that nature's pollinators call home.  We are always improving and adding to our wildflower fields.

Did you know the honey produced by honeybees takes on a taste of their food source - wildflowers, clover, lavender, etc.  Wildflowers and Lavender enable the honeybees to produce honey that is sweet tasting and delicious!
